A viral video of an offended student accusing an instructor of illegally teaching "gender ideology" at Texas A&M University has led to the firing of an instructor and the removal of a dean and department head, as well as calls for investigations — including by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
The video, posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, by state Rep. Brian Harrison (R) on Monday, appears to have been filmed with a hidden camera by a student during a class focused on children's literature.
"According to our president, there's only two genders," the student said, alleging that the instruction "very much goes against not only myself but a lot of people's religious beliefs."
