In Memory of Nadine Christine Dunn - January 20, 1960 - September 29, 2023
Dear OAIMA Members,
It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Nadine Dunn (National Lime & Stone). Nadine was a longtime, active member of the OAIMA Technical Committee and was loved and respected by all. In June of 2018, Nadine was recognized by her peers and presented with a lifetime achievement award from the OAIMA Technical Committee.
Additionally, she was recognized by the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives for her accomplishments and contributions to ensuring the quality of aggregates statewide. In part, the citations read:
“Over, Nadine’s nearly 23 years of service to the National Lime and Stone Company, she has been an indispensable resource of information and experience for the OAIMA’s Technical Committee and, working with the Ohio Department of Transportation, the cooperative effort to draft and implement Ohio’s first aggregate quality control and quality assurance program. Her knowledge of, and passion for, ensuring the quality of aggregates supplied to all customers of NLS and her unwavering and unselfish willingness to share her expertise with her counterparts in the industry has helped Ohio become a leader in quality.”
Nadine will certainly be missed, and we wish her family, friends and coworkers' peace and comfort during this difficult time.
