Long gone are the days of one-size-fits-all marketing. In today's crowded marketplace, hyper-personalization is not only necessary to reach consumers across multiple touch-points but expected from them.
An October 2024 Statista survey of consumers found that 64 percent of respondents said they preferred buying from companies that tailored their brand experience to their wants and needs. However, the key to making this happen is using the right data and remembering that data itself is useless until it is used.

Balancing data-driven decision making with creativity has redefined the role of a modern CMO, and we must know how to interpret enormous, complex datasets that assist in everything from informing our strategy to better understanding how to reach our target audience at the right places (as well as with the right frequency). It's not enough to produce a stunning ad; marketers must make sure to capture the attention of their intended audience and keep its interest.
