‘Tommy Boy’ Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Festival in Sandusky

The festival kicks off August 7

A festival centered on the classic Sandusky-based comedy “Tommy Boy” is set to visit the city this summer.

"Tommy Boy Fest” celebrates the film’s 30th anniversary from August 7 to August 9.

The film is set in Sandusky, home of the fictional Callahan Auto Parts, makers of brake pads. In the film, Tom “Tommy Boy” Callahan III, played by Chris Farley, hits the road with Richard Hayden, depicted by David Spade, to try and save his late father’s company.
